Post subject: LDS does not Serve you...
PostPosted: Mon Dec 29, 2008 6:11 pm
This is being posted for the common misunderstanding of the average WoW player. We as a Guild are not here to serve you. This is a game, we all pay the same amount to play. We are not your baby sitter, your mother, or anyone else that follows your actions to make sure that you are behaving as you should.

We are a casual guild, we have our share of those who log in once every few weeks and those who are on each night. Wide range of play styles and personal goals. The Guild has provided everyone in the Guild with equal opportunity and information to further expand your World of Warcraft experience to help you enjoy yourself, or to ease your learning. But, this information is only offered, it is up to you, the player, to take advantage of what you have available to you. That is not our responsibility. Only you can make this Guild as fun as you want it to be. We've given the tools, but we cannot force you to use them, again, that's your job, not ours.

We have provided class discussion forums for anyone to ask questions or to get answers. We've set up a profession forum so that players can list what they can make so you don't have to consistently ask in Guild chat. Links are shared to helpful websites so that you can find what you are looking for or explore. These tools were set up on our free time for you, to make it much more simple for you.

When it comes down to Raiding, the Guild rewards those who have put in the effort. We are not offering anyone free rides. Everyone must equally share in the effort of progression. There is little room in 10s to have to carry someone through. If you cannot cut it and are holding the Raid back, you will be replaced. Its not fair to everyone else if you are not pulling your own weight. Feelings may be hurt, but if you want to participate, put in the effort, don't come along from the ride because you will be thrown off. If you get removed, this should be motivation for you to improve, not to pout.

We do not serve you. The Guild can only offer so much, it cannot play for you.
